The heart of Orphan Village Africa is that every life is precious to God and therefore every child and every adult matters. While most of our website is focused on the practical ways in which we are assisting and how the generosity of donors can make so much difference - this page just outlines the 'WHY'.
Each precious soul was created and planned by a loving creator God, to be in a relationship with him that we call worship but means a life of peace and security safe in his plan for us. But where did it all go wrong and how did we end up with a world like this?
​The problem is sin, the choosing of a different way, choosing to live away from God destroys all that but God was not content to leave us estranged. Jesus was born and lived a life without fault or sin and invited us to follow him - he said he was the only way back to God and then he died to pay for our sin and rejection of God. He rose from the dead - defeating death for everyone who would choose life and giving a promise of the Holy Spirit to allow us to live the right way.
